About Ludovic Dumas

As an investment professional at a private holding representing the interests of one of the most successful families in Canadian business, he participated in all aspects of the investment process and portfolio monitoring, evaluates potential investment opportunities, leads financial analysis and modeling, investigates industry and sector dynamics for potential investments as well as researches general investment trends.

Prior to joining the private equity world, Ludovic worked in the investment banking department of CIBC World Markets. As a trusted financial and strategic advisor to businesses, he was involved in a broad range of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, corporate sales and divestitures, and financings. He worked on over 45 mandates across diverse industries, including software, food, industrials, and services over the course of his tenure at CIBC.

Prior to joining CIBC, Ludovic was a management consultant with Deloitte where he worked on corporate strategy, corporate restructuring, market analysis, commercial due diligence, and regional economic development mandates. Furthermore, prior to his involvement with Deloitte Consulting, Ludovic was part of ING Group’s investment banking team in Frankfurt, Germany, and was an analyst in mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Dumas has a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC-Montreal where he majored in Finance and graduated with the Mercure Distinction. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder (CFA).
